A message from Sr. Pastor Selina Villamaria

Giver was not founded on a natural revelation, but a supernatural encounter from God. Everyone is called but to the one who answered their calling will be chosen, as stated in John 15:16, “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in my name He may give you.”
Anyone who walks into Giver is called a child of God. As a child of God, do you hear your Father’s voice? Here at Giver of Life being born again is not just repenting and confessing the Lord as Jesus Christ but willing to be encountered by Him. Did you know He loves us so much to speak to us? Are you willing to hear His voice? John 10:27, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow me.”
As we dig deep into His word, we learn that our Lord Jesus dying on the cross is not just for Him to come to us, but our God the Father to encounter us. We believe in the power in 1 Thess. 1:5, “For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.” We believe that we are given power to cast out demons to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit - to heal the sick, and to speak in a heavenly language.
We are not moved by our own understanding nor by our own ways, but to surrender and be lead by the Holy Spirit. We believe in John 4:22-23, “You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” The hour is now saints! And this is why we enter into the Holy Presence of God removing our sandals because it is a Holy Ground. Your sandals represent who you are in this world: father, mother, sister, brother, pastor, doctor, teacher, president, rich or poor because He gave you all of that.
We just enter into His Holy Presence as a child of God -naked as can be, humble as can be- and immediately you will be in His Holy Presence. In Exodus 3:5 the Father spoke: “Do not draw near this place take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is Holy Ground.”
We also believe in Matt. 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the son and the Holy Spirit.” The word name in Hebrew is Shem: “attribute, character, fame, and glory” which means for us to be immersed in the knowledge of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. To know Him is to know who you are in Christ.
Are we mindful of Him who created us? Or are we mindful of our needs and wants? Why can’t we come to God and ask Him: Are You okay, Lord? Are You feeling alright, Lord? What is your favorite color of the rainbow? Or, what is Your favorite verse in the Bible? Why can’t we be more mindful of Him to ask Him how to please and love Him? Not the love that we can give, but the love He deserves! Saints, this is Giver of Life. Amen!
